Château de Clauzuroux

The Château de Clauzuroux (or Château du Clauzurou) is a French château located in the commune of Champagne-et-Fontaine in the Dordogne department, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It was built in the 17th and 18th centuries.

It is situated on the border of the communes of La Chapelle-Grésignac and Cherval, within whose territory its park and several outbuildings are located.

The Château de Clauzuroux was listed as a historical monument by decree of December 16, 1947.

The rest of the estate, including the park, the garden, the formal French garden, the dovecote, the steward’s house, a barn, the watermill, the millrace, and a water staircase, was listed by decree of December 17, 2002.

The event took place as part of the Chateaus en fête 2026.

Many nursery gardeners were present for the plant festival, along with artisans and artists.
Many people came to visit us all day.
I thank the Dereix de Laplane family for their usual wonderful hospitality.
